Step 9- How to Install Video Card

This article will cover the install video card tutorial.

Installing the ATI Radeon 9600 video card is a breeze.

First, remove the slot cover at the back of the case next to the AGP or PCI Express slot.

The video card slot is usually the one closest to the CPU. Carefully place the card onto the slot making sure the card's backplate(connectors are on this end) is aligned with the case slot and the connectors are sticking through to the outside of the case.

Now apply gentle force across the length of the video card to pop it into the slot.

Once the card is seated properly, screw the backplate to the case.

That's it unless you are using a high end card that needs its own power. If so hook it up now.
